Visiogrande: Water-resistant surfaces and new designs for the special laminate tiles from CLASSEN

Baruth (Mark). CLASSEN makes very good things even better: the manufacturer of the tried-and-tested Visiogrande laminate tiles with their extraordinary decors now offers four new exciting designs and increases the suitability for everyday use with the Megaloc aqua protect quick installation system, which is now used for all decors.

Protection for everyday use: Megaloc aqua protect

Thanks to CLASSEN's patented Megaloc-aqua-protect technology, Visiogrande laminate tiles are water-resistant, suitable for damp rooms and even better protected against water penetration at the joints. For a period of 24 hours, no water penetrates down through the chamfer of the edge profiles. This means that Visiogrande can easily withstand frequent exposure to cleaning or splashing water and the risk of the edges swelling has been greatly reduced. The substrate is also protected.

This is demonstrated by the excellent results in the standard test procedure according to NALFA (North American Laminate Flooring Association). CLASSEN carries out these tests continuously in its own laboratory and also regularly commissions external test laboratories for this purpose. The tests examine how the laminate tiles behave when installed, with the surface exposed to standing water for 24 hours. The results show that Visiogrande more than meets the NALFA requirement.

The Visiogrande surfaces also show swelling behaviour of the best possible rating class 1 in the tests, which means that the CLASSEN product performs significantly better than water-resistant laminate flooring from competitors. Moreover, the Megaloc aqua protect profile not only ensures quick and easy laying of the tiles, there is also love in the detail: the angled bevels of the joints on the surface are colour-coordinated with the décor.

At home and in the office: top quality for the discerning eye

The designers at CLASSEN have created four new decors for the Visiogrande collection, which are geared to customers' demands for contemporary material appeal and unmistakable feel-good looks. Soft cotton white", "Soft cloud grey", "Soft cord brown" and "Soft dark anthracite" were created in the in-house design centre. The entire range now comprises 23 decors in various breathtaking concrete, stone and flowing screed looks and thus does justice to the current trend.

The surfaces have tangibly authentic structures, are easy to clean, UV light-resistant as well as pressure- and abrasion-resistant, making them suitable for both frequently used living areas and heavily frequented commercial spaces. A protective layer of melamine resin ensures high resilience.

Floors For A Better Tomorrow: Visiogrande is sustainable

In line with CLASSEN's motto "Floors For A Better Tomorrow", Visiogrande laminate tiles are produced in a resource-conserving and low-emission manner. Thus, during production, attention is paid to wood from sustainable forestry, short transport routes and environmentally friendly production technologies; for example, residual wood is recycled in the company's own biomass energy plant.

Visiogrande also comes in environmentally friendly cardboard wrap-around packaging, so there is no plastic waste.
