Les innovations pionnières du groupe CLASSEN au salon BAU 2023

Ceramin®, Uberwood, Manor and Megaloc

Munich/Kaisersesch, February 08, 2023. The CLASSEN Group, one of the world's leading manufacturers of laminate flooring as well as PVC-free wall and floor coverings, will present no less than four groundbreaking innovations at BAU 2023 from April 17 - 23 in Munich. In addition to the licensable Megaloc installation systems and the XXL-format, fully recyclable Ceramin® floors and tiles, the company will also present the new Uberwood® collection with a hitherto completely new depth structure in the surface as well as a new innovative herringbone laminate. All innovations can be experienced up close at the CLASSEN Group booth (Hall A6, Booth 314).

Megaloc - better water protection and easy uninstallation

For many years, the Megaloc systems of the CLASSEN Group have been proven and popular in the flooring industry. The new generation of Megaloc locking is not only water-resistant for up to 48 hours like the previous Megaloc AquaProtect - it also makes it easy to reattach planks that have already been connected. The non-destructive uninstallation is not only limited to laminate floors, the fold-down system is also available for floating pre-finished parquet as Megaloc XXL. The family-owned company's commitment to sustainability is reflected here in an extended product life cycle and improved longevity of the floors. The patented system, in which the head edges are easily and quickly locked or simply folded apart on resumption, is also made available by the CLASSEN Group to the entire industry as part of its licensing business.

Ceramin® - Upcycling and Recycling Made in Germany

The Ceramin® Tiles collection, which has already proven itself on the market, is being expanded with new decors. The completely new tile category is ultra-light, robust and ideally suited for bathroom renovation or refurbishment. Despite their size of 2.55 × 1.20 meters, the XXL decors, for example, weigh up to 60 percent less than conventional ceramic tiles and can be laid by one person alone. This makes Ceramin® Tiles particularly attractive for DIY enthusiasts and craftsmen.

Furthermore, CLASSEN presents with its new collection "Nuva" all technical advancements of the new Ceramin® generation. In addition to an embossed bevel in the wear layer, Nuva is characterized above all by its XL formats.

Uberwood® - a new generation of floors

With Uberwood®, the CLASSEN Group presents a new flooring category at BAU. Thanks to the company's high level of manufacturing expertise, the floor has a diamond-hard, scratch-resistant surface. As a result, Uberwood® achieves use class 33 and abrasion class 5. In addition, the installation system guarantees water resistance for up to 100 hours. In combination with the two-millimeter-thick Underlay, which serves as a sound-absorbing pad and eliminates the need for further underlays, the floor is suitable for all areas of application - from private living spaces to commercial or retail premises.

The standard format is supplemented in the Uberwood® range by an XL format to give a more open feeling of space, especially in smaller rooms. The look and feel of Uberwood® planks is unusual and completely new. Three different synchronous structures (Authentic, Iconic, Rustic) and 15 designs leave nothing to be desired. The rustic designs in particular, with structures that only real wood floors have achieved in this depth to date, demonstrate the love of product detail: Modeled on hand-selected, native woods, they contain distinctive cracks and knots with authentic highlights, perfected by an additional elegant sanding. This gives the planks such a natural appearance that they are almost indistinguishable from real wood applications. In line with the CLASSEN Group's sustainability premise, the wood used comes exclusively from FSC® (FSC C100583) and PEFC (PEFC/04-31-0824) certified forests.

Manor - the first herringbone laminate collection

These and other innovations can be experienced at the CLASSEN Group stand at BAU from April 17 to 23.
