The CLASSEN Group presents its new sales structure, which brings a breath of fresh air and a new dynamic to the family-owned company. With this change, the CLASSEN Group is striving to strengthen sales within the company and promote closer networking and cross-departmental cooperation.

"PVC is not a material of the future and PVC production and use should be stopped yesterday rather than today". With this clear finding, Cradle-To-Cradle pioneer Prof. Dr. Michael Braungart introduces his interim report on the cooperation between BRAUNGART EPEA - Internationale Umweltforschung GmbH and the CLASSEN Group. Against the backdrop of the approaching PVC ban under the Green Deal and the REACH Regulation of the European Union, the focus is shifting to materials, products and processes that are suitable for the circular economy and are neither harmful to humans nor the environment.

The CLASSEN Group, one of the world's leading manufacturers of floor coverings, was able to place a green promissory note for the first time via the digital platform finpair, which brokers promissory notes to interested investors. The issuance of the green promissory note is in line with the Green Bond Principles (GBP) and was reviewed by imug GmbH, one of the leading research and consulting institutions for sustainability, with an unqualified SPO (second party opinion).

Akzenta Paneele + Profile GmbH, a subsidiary of the Classen Group, filed a lawsuit against the two companies Kronoflooring GmbH and KRONOSPAN GmbH Lampertswalde with the Düsseldorf Regional Court on 25 May 2023 (file number 4c O 29/23).

With its laminate factory and more than 800 employees at the Baruth site, the Classen Group is one of the largest employers in the region. As the company is constantly evolving, Classen is still looking for trainees in the commercial and technical fields for the start of training in the summer. On June 30, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., anyone interested will therefore have the opportunity to find out about the various apprenticeships and take a look at the workplace and sustainable production at the world's most modern laminate plant.

On an area of 35,000 m², the new photovoltaic plant of the CLASSEN Group produces green energy for the production site in Kaisersesch. The massive solar park generates enough electricity annually to power around 1,300 two-person households for an entire year or to supply a soccer stadium with energy for around 200 games.

The self-developed tile alternative CERAMIN® Tiles receives the internationally renowned Interzum Award for its exceptionally high product quality. The prize is awarded by a renowned international jury of experts for exceptional products.

The CLASSEN Group brought innovative design, sustainable flooring and product innovations to BAU 2023. The family-owned company celebrates the premiere with a stand construction concept that makes the leitmotifs of the wall and floor covering manufacturer - sustainability and uniqueness - tangible from May 9 to 12 in Cologne.

The CLASSEN Group, one of the world's leading manufacturers of laminate flooring as well as PVC-free wall and floor coverings, will present no less than four groundbreaking innovations at BAU 2023 from April 17 - 23 in Munich. In addition to the licensable Megaloc installation systems and the XXL-format, fully recyclable Ceramin® floors and tiles, the company will also present the new Uberwood® collection with a hitherto completely new depth structure in the surface as well as a new innovative herringbone laminate.
