CLASSEN Group and i4F further strengthen patent partnership with innovative Polypropylene (PP) flooring solutions

Classen and i4F are strengthening their patent partnership, which now also includes Classen's polypropylene (PP) technologies. Brandenburg's Minister of Economic Affairs visits Baruth/Mark to find out about planned energy project 

During his visit to Baruth/Mark today, Brandenburg's Minister of Economic Affairs, Prof. Dr.-Ing. Jörg Steinbach, toured the Classen Group's laminate and fiberboard plant and learned about the planned measures to reduce CO2 emissions. The plant intends to cover its electricity requirements from renewable sources in future. To this end, Classen is planning to build a wind farm together with the naturwind group of companies.

Energy project in Baruth/Mark receives funding approval for heating network planning

Michael Kellner, Parliamentary State Secretary to the Federal Minister for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection, today handed over the funding decision for the heating network planning in Baruth and Mückendorf. The grant of EUR 631,761.50 from the federal funding for efficient heating networks (BEW, Module 1) is specifically earmarked for the planning costs of the heating network in Baruth and Mückendorf. The grant is an important milestone for the “Energy for Baruth” project.

Parliamentary State Secretary learns about pioneering energy project in Baruth/Mark

Michael Kellner, Parliamentary State Secretary at the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection, visited Baruth/Mark yesterday to find out about the local energy supply concept for industry and residents of the Brandenburg municipality. Together with the Classen Group and other partners, the naturwind Group is planning to build a wind farm, a heating network and a hydrogen plant. The "Energy for Baruth" project pursues a decentralized and holistic approach. It aims to supply industry and residents regionally with electricity and heat. The wind power generated remains 100 percent in the region.
