Open day of the industrial park at the Classen Group

Sustainability at your fingertips - laminate flooring to win

Baruth/Mark, September 13, 2022. With its laminate plant and more than 800 employees at the Baruth site, the Classen Group is one of the largest employers in the region. Anyone who has ever wanted to see the production in the world's most modern plant for laminate flooring in operation will have the best opportunity to do so on September 17. That's when the company will open its factory gates as part of the Open Industrial Park Day and provide deep insights into its sustainable production.

Almost everyone is likely to have seen or bought Classen laminate flooring on the shelves of DIY stores. How the production of the sustainable laminate floors looks like, the employees of Classen will show on the coming Saturday. Residents, but above all possible employees and trainees are cordially invited to use this opportunity extensively. Not only can you take a look at the 450,000 square meter factory, but you can also find out about training and other career opportunities. Classen employees will also be available to answer questions at the training and job fair.

From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Classen will be offering barrier-free factory tours. Every hour, 30 square meters of laminate will be raffled off, which the winners can choose from the large range. A free shuttle bus will be available for shuttles from Baruth/Mark railroad station and from the Brandenburger Urstromquelle for all interested parties.

Representatives of the press are also cordially invited to take this opportunity to get a first-hand impression. Carsten Buhlmann and André Hennig will be available to talk to you.
